A book breaking down the process and research of a frame by frame animated story about China. It packs six months of work in China into a collection of thoughts, ideas and history. The book consists of an animation history breakdown with focus on China and loops in animation. Insights into Chinese architecture, culture, religion, painting, language and harmony of humans and nature. And a detailed description of the thought process behind each animation and the entire project.

The photos were also an important part of the project. Their concept was mainly to pay homage to Ai Weiwei and his »Dropping a Han Dynasty Urn«. Where he is demonstrating his questioning attitude toward how and by whom cultural values are created.
